Dress to Impress FAQ

All Questions

Is it "Dress to Impress", "DTI" or "Dress Up Impress"?

The game's real name is Dress to Impress; DTI is the community abbreviation and both spellings point at the same Roblox experience. "Dresses to Impress", "Dressed to Impress" and "Dress Up Impress" are different games or plain misspellings — the official experience is published by the Dress To Impress Group and has a verified badge.

Is this the same Dress to Impress as the Neopets one?

No. Neopets has a long-running customisation tool called Dress to Impress (dti.neopets.net) which has nothing to do with this game. Everything on this site is about the Roblox runway game released in November 2023.

How do I redeem a code in Dress to Impress?

Click the handbag icon on the left of the screen to open the codes menu, type the code into the "Type here..." field exactly as written, then hit the check mark. Codes are case-sensitive and several of them use zeroes where you would expect the letter O.

Where do new Dress to Impress codes get announced?

Almost every code is a creator code — the developers hand it to a YouTuber or streamer, who reveals it in a video. The rest arrive inside update announcements on the official Discord and the @Play_DressToImpress YouTube channel. That is why codes like KREEK and MEGANPLAYSBOOTS are named after creators.

Is Dress to Impress free?

Yes. The experience is free to play on Roblox. Robux only buys optional extras: the VIP gamepass (399 Robux a month or 799 Robux permanently), item sets and the Custom Makeup pass. Everything a round actually needs is in the Standard Dressing Room.

What does VIP actually give you?

A VIP tag above your display name and access to the VIP Dressing Room, which holds roughly 240 VIP-only items. The other 875-plus items in the wardrobe are non-VIP, which is why non-VIP builds place on the podium every round.

How many themes are in Dress to Impress?

The in-game theme pool passed 790 in July 2026, and 37 more were added in the May 2026 cultural update alone. Our index lists the 779 themes that are individually named and confirmed.

What are the blue hearts for?

Blue Hearts are Baddie Pass XP, added on 28 June 2025. You earn them by playing rounds while a pass is live, from Hall of Fame daily tasks (150 each), from the Makeover Boutique score and by walking through the XP pickups in Board Surfing. They rank up your pass tiers — they are not a currency you can spend.

Can you play Dress to Impress on Xbox or on a phone?

Yes. It runs anywhere Roblox runs — PC, Mac, iOS, Android and Xbox. One caveat: toy DLC codes can only be redeemed in-game on computer, so mobile and console players have to use the redeem.collect.it site instead.

Who made Dress to Impress?

The Dress To Impress Group, led by the developer known as Gigi. The game launched on Roblox in November 2023 and has since passed 10.8 billion visits with about 90% positive ratings.

Is Dress to Impress safe for kids?

It is a dress-up and voting game with no combat, and it inherits Roblox's chat filters. The things worth knowing as a parent are the same as any Roblox title: the voting can be blunt, there is a Robux-priced VIP pass, and outside sites promising free codes or Robux are scams. Nothing on this page needs a login or a Roblox password.

How long is a round and how many items can I wear?

Six minutes (360 seconds) in the Dressing Room, then the runway. You can equip 18 items at once, or 24 with the Increased Item Limit gamepass. Freeplay Mode removes both the theme and the timer.
