DTI Toy and DLC Codes Explained

Two different code systems

Dress to Impress has two code systems, and confusing them is the reason so many redemptions fail.

Normal codes are public. Developers or content creators release them, anyone can use them, and they unlock free items for everybody. All 26 currently active ones are on the codes page.

Toy codes, also called DLC codes, are private and single-use. They come printed on a scratch card inside physical Dress to Impress merchandise, and each one works exactly once. You cannot share one, and you will not find a working one posted online — any site claiming to give away DLC codes is either scraping used ones or running a scam.

How to redeem a toy code

On computer or laptop: open the codes menu with the handbag icon, then toggle the “Toy Code” option before entering the code. Without that toggle the game checks it against the public list, does not find it, and rejects it — which is the single most common reason a valid toy code appears not to work.

On mobile: the in-game toy code option is not available. Use the official redemption site instead: https://redeem.collect.it/?game=dti. Redeem there with the Roblox account you actually play on.

What toy codes give you

Items tied to specific merchandise lines — the doll and Mystery Models ranges in particular. They are marked in the item database as Toy Code Items and appear in your Dressing Booths alongside your other unlocked items once redeemed.

Because they are merchandise-linked, they are not on any public list and they do not expire from a maintained schedule the way normal codes do.

Warnings worth taking seriously

• A used card is dead. Buying second-hand merchandise with a scratched-off card means the code is almost certainly already redeemed.
• Redeem on the right account. There is no transfer mechanism afterwards.
• Nobody legitimately gives away DLC codes. No giveaway, generator or “free DLC code” site is real.
• Never enter your Roblox password anywhere except roblox.com. The official redemption site asks you to link an account through Roblox’s own flow; anything asking for a password directly is phishing.

Where merchandise codes fit alongside normal codes
