DTI VIP Guide: Price, Room and Whether It Is Worth It

What VIP is

VIP is a Roblox gamepass, bought through the in-game Shop or the Roblox website. Two prices:

  • 399 Robux for a month
  • 799 Robux for permanent access

What it unlocks:

  1. A VIP tag displayed above your name.
  2. Access to the VIP Dressing Room, an area connected to the Standard Dressing Room containing VIP-only clothing and accessories.

That is the whole list. It does not add stars, change vote weighting, remove the timer or raise the item limit — the item limit is a separate gamepass (Increased Item Limit, taking you from 18 to 24 items).

Gifting and regional pricing

Gamepasses can be gifted to another player in-server using the gift button next to the gamepass icon. A gifting prop costs the same Robux as the pass itself.

Prices legitimately differ between players. The developer Gigi confirmed in the official Discord in May 2024 that gamepass prices vary by region because of Roblox’s regional pricing system, and that this is not a bug. If a friend sees a different number, that is why. Note that gifting props are not affected by regional pricing — they charge the original price.

How much wardrobe VIP actually adds

Roughly 240 items are tagged VIP. More than 875 are not. VIP is about a fifth of the wardrobe.

That ratio is the honest answer to “is VIP worth it”: it broadens what you can build, particularly for a handful of themes with dedicated VIP sets, but every theme in the pool is buildable without it. The no-VIP outfit guide lists free substitutes for the specific pieces people most often want.

Does VIP help you win?

Not directly. Votes go to theme accuracy and silhouette legibility — see how to win rounds — and neither is gated behind the pass. The practical benefit is speed: a wider wardrobe means less time hunting for something that fits the theme inside the six-minute limit.

Free alternatives worth doing first

  1. Redeem all 26 active codes. They permanently unlock items and cost nothing.
  2. Daily Login rewards, added in the July 2026 update.
  3. Baddie Pass tiers, levelled with Blue Hearts from rounds, Hall of Fame daily tasks (150 each), the Makeover Boutique and Board Surfing.
  4. Rank items — a few of the 14 ranks unlock items obtainable no other way.

A safety note

VIP is bought inside Roblox, through the in-game Shop or the official Roblox website. Any site offering VIP, free Robux or a “VIP code” outside those two places is a scam. There is no code that grants VIP.
